Nives was born in Split in 1961.
In 1979 she graduated from Highschool of Arts. Since 1989 she has been working as an independent artist, participating in 15 independent and 43 group exhibitions, both in Croatia and abroad. Her main artistic focus are sculptures made in papier -mache technique, all of them being one of the kind. Nives has been designing masks, props and head-dresses for theatre performances.

She has taken part in more than thirty theatre projects, including two independent costume-designs and two stage-settings. Nives also illustrates children's books and designs picture postcards.
